Washington Lions Football Club (WA Lions FC) is a Seattle-based nonprofit organization that uses the power of soccer to unite, uplift, and strengthen the community. Founded by a group of passionate veteran players, the club serves as both a competitive team and a platform for social impact. Our mission is to promote health, fitness, teamwork, and charity through the universal language of soccer — creating opportunities for engagement, mentorship, and support across generations.
At the heart of Washington Lions FC is our commitment to community. Beyond competing in veteran-focused tournaments, our members organize free soccer camps and local tournaments for youth and adults throughout the Seattle area. Governed by an elected Board of Directors and supported by a strong Executive Committee and Sporting Department, WA Lions FC operates with integrity, transparency, and collaboration. Members — many of Cameroonian origin but inclusive of all who share our values — contribute not just as athletes, but as ambassadors of unity and community engagement.
